Liability: If the renter is found to be at fault in an accident, liability coverage will pay for damage to another person’s property (property damage liability) or for costs associated with another person’s injuries (bodily injury liability). Liability insurance is required in all states, but the minimum liability varies per state.
Comprehensive & Collision: Covers exterior property damage to the rented unit up to the actual cash value of your vehicle, with a maximum of $1M for all qualified vehicles 2000 and newer. Vehicles from 1999 and older are covered for the value of the vehicle up to $75,000. Comprehensive and collision coverage does not cover damages to another vehicle.
