This contest (the “Contest”) is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. Void where prohibited by law. Only offered to residents in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec).



<h3>Contest period</h3>



The Contest begins at 5:00 pm Central Standard Time (CST) on May 23, 2022 and ends at 11:59 pm (CST) on September 5, 2022 (the “Contest Period”). During the Contest Period, Outdoorsy will select weekly potential winners (see “How to Enter” and “Winner selection and notification” for details on additional requirements regarding entry timing and winner selection process during the Contest Period. Outdoorsy reserves the right to cancel the Contest at any time and for any reason without notice.

<h3>Eligibility</h3>



The Contest is open to residents of the U.S. and its territories, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Officers, directors, and employees of Outdoorsy or its affiliates, and related companies, and the immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such officers, directors, and employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible. The Contest is subject to all applicable Texas and US laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.



<h3>Agreement to official rules </h3>



By entering and participating in the Contest, you, the entrant, fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Outdoorsy, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. By participating in the Contest, you, the entrant, grant Outdoorsy permission to send you emails, which you may opt out of at any time.



<h3>How to enter</h3>



Submission of entries (the skills-test) must be made during the Contest Period. Participation consists of an entry form located behind the designated “Enter now” digital button interface from the Get Outta Here landing page at <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/get-outta-here" target="_blank">www.outdoorsy.com/get-outta-here</a>. You must fill in all of the fields as directed.



Three potential winners of the skills-test will be selected by Outdoorsy (in its sole discretion) each calendar week during the Contest Period. The three potential winners’ submissions will then be published and displayed (anonymously) on multiple channels, including but not limited to paid social and other organic communities. Users of such channels may vote on their favorite submission, and the submission with the most votes will be selected as a potential winner.&nbsp;&nbsp;



Outdoorsy is not responsible for entries made but not received and/or accepted, and that such entries are void, including but not limited to:



<ul><li>Lost entries</li><li>Late entries</li><li>Incomplete, damaged, or otherwise impossible to process entries</li><li>Technical failures in the entry process (e.g., website crash)</li><li>Fraudulent interference with the entry process (e.g., sending in multiple entries under pseudonyms)</li></ul>



User-generated content: If the Contest involves taking submissions of user-generated content (UGC) that entrants have created, UGC submissions will be deemed ineligible for the following reasons:



<ul><li>They contain third-party content</li><li>They contain illegal, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content</li><li>They were not created by the entrant</li><li>They have previously been published or otherwise made public elsewhere</li><li>They contain personally identifiable information (except for the entrant&#8217;s personally identifiable information) or other sensitive/confidential content</li><li>Any other reason of the Sponsor</li></ul>



<h3>Prize</h3>



The prize consists of: US$1,000.00 in credits for exclusive use on Outdoorsy.com, plus an “escape pack” of partner products with an estimated average value up to US$2,000.00. The prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. The right to receive the prize is not transferable, assignable, and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted except at Outdoorsy’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Thousand Trails complimentary four consecutive nights of camping on an RV site at any participating Thousand Trails Campground, Encore RV Resort or destination campground featured on RVontheGo.com, a $300 value, restrictions below. The complimentary stay at any campground featured on RVontheGo.com is subject to availability and reservations are required. Stay must be completed by June 15, 2023 and booked by June 1, 2023. Travel to and from the property and other expenses of the trip, such as food and personal items, are not included. The stay must be one consecutive period of time and any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited. Holidays and special events are excluded. The following resorts are excluded from the promotion: Bethpage Campground, Grey’s Point Campground, Fiesta Key RV Resort, Sunshine Key RV Resort, San Francisco RV Campground, Grandy Creek Campground, Little Diamond Campground, Indian Lakes Campground, St. George RV Campground, Desert Vista RV Campground, Pine Island RV Resort, Okeechobee RV Resort, Timber Creek RV Campground, Acorn RV Campground, Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch, Pine Haven Camping Resort, and Marina Dunes RV Resort.



Outdoorsy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or a portion of the prize) of equal or greater value for any reason. Outdoorsy will not replace the prize if it is lost or stolen. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. By accepting the prize, the winner grants its permission for Outdoorsy to use the winner’s name, picture, social media pseudonym and city and state for purposes of advertising and trade without further consent or compensation, unless prohibited by law.



Outdoorsy makes no representations or warranties whatsoever as to the ability to use the prize to book and rent any particular vehicle listed on the Outdoorsy.com platform. A winner making a booking on the Outdoorsy.com platform agrees that additional criteria may be imposed by the listed vehicle’s owner. If the booking value exceeds the US$1,000.00 credit, then the winner will be solely and completely responsible for covering the booking expenses beyond the prize amount. Such booking must purchase the maximum available insurance coverage offered through the Outdoorsy.com booking platform. Outdoorsy will not be responsible for covering additional trip costs on and/or off platform, including but not limited to, mileage overage fees, gas, campground reservations, airfare or any other costs and expenses. All bookings on the Outdoorsy.com platform must fully comply with the terms and conditions and other policies therein.



<h3>Winner selection and notification</h3>



As described in “How to Enter,” three potential winners will be selected each calendar week during the Contest Period. The three potential winners’ submissions will be published and displayed (anonymously) on multiple channels, including but not limited to paid social, other organic communities, and partner channels. Users of such channels may vote on their favorite submission, and the submission with the most votes will be selected as a potential winner.&nbsp; In the event of a tie, Outdoorsy in its sole discretion may select the winner. The potential winner will be notified via email addresses provided on the submission. In order to receive the prize, the potential winner must return email communications with Outdoorsy’s team to set the delivery conditions of the prize. If the potential winner fails to give respond to the email within 14 days or is found to be, in Outdoorsy’s sole discretion, ineligible or in violation of these Official Rules, such potential winner and his/her entry will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.&nbsp; Outdoorsy may request paperwork that the potential winner will be required to complete in order to be awarded the prize (including, but not limited to, a publicity release, tax documentation, drivers license information, evidence of insurability, and/or liability release). The failure to do so will render the potential winner ineligible. If the potential winner is under the age of 25, they will need to be accompanied on their reward trip by a verified driver (verified in Outdoorsy’s sole discretion) over the age of 25 who will be responsible for being the driver of the vehicle during the rental period and who will be legally responsible for compliance with all terms and conditions related to accepting and using the prize, including the provision of paperwork and the releases and indemnifications described in these Official Rules. The prize will be available for redemption until September 4, 2023. The receipt of the prize offered in this Contest by the potential winner is conditional upon compliance with these Official Rules and any and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.



<h4>General terms</h4>



Decisions made by Outdoorsy are final and binding in all matters, including interpretation of these Official Rules and awarding of the prize. Entrants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay, or misdirection of Contest materials submitted to Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest, or any part of it, if any virus, bugs, other technical failures, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond Outdoorsy’s control impair the administration, security, integrity, or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Outdoorsy in its sole discretion. Outdoorsy in its sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, Outdoorsy reserves the right to seek damages from such persons to the fullest extent permitted by law. Outdoorsy’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term.



<h4>Release and indemnification</h4>



By participating in the Contest, you agree to release from liability and hold harmless Outdoorsy and its parent company, affiliates, and related companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or the receipt or use or misuse of any prize, or from any trip booked or taken using the prize. Entrants agree to indemnify the Released Parties and any other companies associated with the Contest, including any vendors or marketing agencies, and any third parties who have provided prizing. The indemnity covers all claims made not only by potential winners, but also by anyone participating in the Contest. The indemnity covers both claims arising out of the Contest itself, and claims arising from any use of the prizes.



<h4>Limitation of liability</h4>



Outdoorsy is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing errors, or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, delays, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (4) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or postage-due entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, or from any trip booked or taken using the prize. This includes such failures that might result in more winners than planned are issued.



<h4>Disputes</h4>



This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States and State of Texas without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that any and all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively and solely before a state or federal court located in Austin, Texas. Further, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.



<h4>Privacy policy</h4>



Information submitted with an online entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on Outdoorsy’s website.



<h4>Winner name and rules </h4>



To obtain a copy of the winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Outdoorsy. Residents of Vermont may omit return postage. Requests must be received during the Contest Period.

When you meet with your renter for the first time, there’s a LOT to talk about. It&#8217;s easy to forget all the little things that go into preparing your RV for rental, but the attention to detail will be much appreciated. Renter Pre-Arrival Checklist

Completion of the RV Return Form is mandatory for a deposit dispersal, so don’t skip this step! When your renter returns with your RV, take the time to walk through the vehicle and record any damage that may have occurred during the rental period. 
Do a comprehensive review of the interior, exterior, undercarriage, and roof. Though you have 48 hours to report damages to Outdoorsy, recording any damage at this point (so the renter can sign-off on the document) will help avoid a claims dispute. Taking photos of your rig to document any existing damage before and after every trip is necessary to handle a claims dispute should one arise.

Privacy Policy

<h3>FOR OWNERS</h3>
All qualifying vehicles that you list on Outdoorsy will be eligible for our insurance protection plan. Insurance protection is available to RVs, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers, Truck Campers, Campervans, Sportsmobiles and certified Westfalias, VW Campers and Vintage units. This excludes the tow vehicle unless it is also listed on Outdoorsy, has been approved and is rented at the same time as the trailer through Outdoorsy. The tow vehicle must apply and be approved for coverage separately from the trailer. If you have an older vehicle, know that Outdoorsy is the only major RV rental platform that covers vehicles older than 15 years for both Physical Damage and Liability. Older Westfalias and VW Vans and Vintage units can be covered under our Vintage Plan for both Liability and Comprehensive &amp; Collision. There is no restriction on age for Trailers as long as they pass their regularly scheduled mechanical safety inspections.
The insurance protection program is offered to you with no monthly premium and no monthly payment. It is a benefit that you enjoy for listing on and transacting through Outdoorsy. Best of all, you are provided with $1 million in Liability coverage in the U.S. and up to $500,000 in Physical Damage coverage, including Comprehensive &amp; Collision protection. In Canada, coverages are available up to $5 Million in Liability coverage and up to actual cash value forPhysical Damage coverage, including Comprehensive &amp; Collision protection.
However, it’s important to note that:

<li style="font-weight: 400">Only transactions made through Outdoorsy qualify for our $1 million Liability coverage and up to $500,000 in Physical Damage coverage (in the U.S.).  In Canada, the available coverages are up to $5 Million in Liability coverage and up to actual cash value for Physical Damage coverage, including Comprehensive &amp; Collision protection.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">Interior damage and losses caused by mechanical failures due to a lack of maintenance are covered if you select the interior damage coverage option.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">Collision coverage on motorized vehicles older than year 2000, may be covered at the discretion of the company, and rates charges may apply.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">Every listed vehicle must pass a 90-day inspection of its tires, brakes, and LP gas, appliance and electrical systems within 90 days of the reservation departure. Safety first! Outdoorsy’s insurance carriers reserve the right to request these inspection documents in the event of a filed claim.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">Vehicles must be legally registered, meet all safety standards, and must be certified and meet all listing criteria on Outdoorsy.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">All drivers, including the primary contract signer, must be verified and approved through the Outdoorsy DMV Driver history check and other background checks if necessary.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">For drivers traveling south of the border, our coverage does not extend to vehicles entering Mexico.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">Damage as a result of vandalism and theft during the rental period must include a police report when submitting a claim to our team or the claim will not be accepted. </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400">Insurance coverages are not permitted for salvage title vehicles.</li>
<li>In the event a claim needs to be filed, you need to have pre-trip photos, post-trip photos, and either the <a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Driveable-RV-Departure-Form.pdf">Driveable RV Departure</a> and <a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Driveable-RV-Return-Form.pdf">RV Return</a> forms or the <a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Towable-RV-Departure-Form.pdf">Towable RV Departure</a> and <a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Towable-RV-Return-Form.pdf">RV Return</a> forms, completed and signed.</li>

Deductibles
Our insurance protection plans feature tiered deductibles depending on the value of the rented vehicle. The renter is responsible for the deductible, which can range from $500 to $1500 on the Physical Damage and Comprehensive &amp; Collision coverages in the event of a damage claim. The deductible is the responsibility of the renter.
Coverage requirements
To enable the coverage on each rental, owners must apply and be approved for each vehicle through the Outdoorsy dashboard. In addition, for each rental, all planned drivers must submit and be approved through the Outdoorsy Verification process. Outdoorsy may require further background checks if the verification is incomplete. If there is no verified driver, you are still eligible to rent your vehicle through Outdoorsy, however you as the owner are responsible for providing your own insurance coverage or confirming with the renter whether they are able to provide coverage. Outdoorsy will not extend insurance coverage to renters who are not approved, verified drivers. When your vehicle is not on an active rental through Outdoorsy, your personal insurance serves as primary coverage. Once you are qualified and approved as an owner, an insurance certificate will be issued by Outdoorsy and will be available through your dashboard under your documents tab.
We offer up to $1 million in Liability insurance coverage, which protects you against claims from third parties as well as your renters in the case of any incidents. You’re also protected for any physical damage to your RV in the event of a collision or accident during the rental period, up to the actual cash value of your vehicle, with a maximum of $500,000.  For vehicles listed on Outdoorsy Canada, the available coverages extend up to $5 million in Liability insurance coverage and actual cash value Physical Damage protection that protects the unit from damage that results from collisions and comprehensive causes (such as fire or theft), with some specific limitations for acts of nature. Interior damage from usage such as scuffs, broken cabinets or cleaning, etc., are available through optional insurance packages made available to the renter during the booking checkout. Cleaning fees and other owner charges specified in the listing should be covered by the renter’s security/damage deposit.

<h3>FOR RENTERS</h3>
The application process is quick and easy. Before you rent your first RV we ask for your payment information and your Driver’s License information and, in some cases, more background information so we can verify that you meet our eligibility and insurability requirements. In most cases, the driver eligibility check takes seconds, as long as we can verify all of your information and you have a clean driving record.
When you pass your DMV verification and any additional background verification steps that are required, you will not need to purchase a rental binder and there are no brokers or agents to call. It’s an easy and secure process and your information is never shared with anyone. Upon passing background verification, your insurance will be activated and you will be covered from the moment you pick up the keys to the RV. Your coverage automatically includes state minimums for liability, with the option to upgrade your liability coverage to $1,000,000 in the U.S. and up to $10 million for Canadian originated rentals. The coverage protects you against claims from third parties for damage caused to the vehicle. You’re protected for physical damage that you may cause to the RV, up to the maximum limit that you select in the coverage packages during your booking.  
International Renters
Traveling from another country to tour the U.S. and/or Canada? Outdoorsy makes it easy as there is no need to pay additional fees for daily insurance coverage. Outdoorsy’s insurance coverage plans protect international travelers when they rent through Outdoorsy. Both Liability and Physical Damage, Comprehensive &amp; Collision coverages are included. International travelers must have a valid international license or International Driver’s Permit and we may ask for additional documentation (such as a scan of the drivers’ passport) for verification. Once a driver is verified and approved, they are automatically covered for all rental vehicles that have applied for and have been approved for coverage through Outdoorsy.

Liability Insurance Policy

You can update your credit card in your account at anytime.



If you have a trip booked, be sure to update your card on your trip page. Otherwise, you can update it in your account settings.



<h3>Add a new card for a trip you already have booked</h3>



<h5>If you already have a trip booked and you’d like any upcoming charges to go on a new card, use these instructions.&nbsp;</h5>



Be sure to do this when logged in to the desktop or mobile website. This functionality is not yet available on our iPhone or Android apps — sorry about that.



From the My account dropdown in the upper right, select Upcoming trips. 



Select the trip you need to update the card for. Then, scroll down to and expand the Payment &amp; cancellation section.



Under Payment details, select Change payment method. Then, open the dropdown and select Add payment method.



Once you’ve added your card, any upcoming payments for the trip will go on your new card. The card will also be saved to your account.&nbsp;

<h5>If you don’t currently have a trip booked and just want to update your saved credit card, use these instructions.</h5>



On the desktop or mobile website, go to the My account dropdown and select Settings. From the mobile app, go to your Profile and select Settings.&nbsp;



Then, select Payment methods. From here, you can add a new payment method or remove an existing one.

How do I update my credit card?

If you&#8217;d like to track the location of your RV rental, you can sign up for GPS tracking from our partner, Zubie.



Zubie offers:

How to get Zubie&#8217;s special Outdoorsy rates:

Can I track where renters take my vehicle?

The amount on your 1099-K represents your tax liability as defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).



The IRS requires Outdoorsy to base our 1099-K reporting on the gross reportable payments that renters make to our platform.&nbsp;



<ul><li>Included in 1099-K reporting: For each rental, the amount a renter pays for the vehicle (nightly rate multiplied by the number of nights), as well as any add-ons. This is before the owner service fee has been subtracted.</li><li>Not included in 1099-K reporting: The amount renters pay directly to Outdoorsy for insurance, as a renter service fee, and as sales/transactional tax.</li></ul>



<h4>Why include the owner service fee on 1099-Ks?</h4>



Because it doesn’t come out of the customer’s payment to Outdoorsy. It comes out of our payout to you.



Again, the IRS requires us to base our 1099-K reporting on renters’ payments and not owners’ payouts.&nbsp;



This means your 1099-K will differ from your total payouts for the year in your Outdoorsy account. The difference is the owner service fee. It’s included in 1099-K reporting. It’s not included in your total payouts for the year.&nbsp;



This could change in the future. We watch tax laws closely so we can help you comply. We’ll implement any changes that impact you and your tax liability.



<h4>Reminder about service fees</h4>



Both RV owners and renters pay a service fee. Renters pay a percentage of their rental cost. Owners, a percentage of their payout. This helps enable Outdoorsy to maintain a secure and updated platform.

Where’d the taxable amount on my 1099-K come from?

The federal government imposes tax reporting requirements on companies like Outdoorsy. This means we must notify the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of reportable payments that just about everyone receives from our platform.



Without your tax info, we can’t do this. But, that doesn’t mean you&#8217;re off the hook.



By law, if Outdoorsy doesn’t have your tax information, we must withhold at least 24% of your reportable payments as income tax. We remit this to the IRS for you.&nbsp;



<h4>Where do I add my tax info?</h4>



You can add your tax information in the Account area of your <a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/dashboard/account/payout" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dashboard</a>, on the Payout preferences or Tax docs tab.&nbsp;



<h4>What if I don’t add my tax info?</h4>



Automatic withholding (24% of your reportable payments) begins January 1, 2022.



<h4>Can I stop automatic withholdings once they’ve begun?</h4>



Yes, once you provide your tax information, Outdoorsy will stop withholding on future payouts.



<h4>What happens to the money that Outdoorsy withholds?</h4>



We remit the money to the IRS in your name, and you may be able to treat the withholdings as tax payments made by you. However, you may face difficulties given that the payments we remit aren’t tied to your taxpayer identification number.&nbsp;



That’s why, even if withholding has started, you should provide your tax information to Outdoorsy.&nbsp;



You should consult with your tax professional for more information.



<h4>I just submitted my tax information. Will Outdoorsy pay me back what it withheld?</h4>



It depends on when the withholding occurred and when you submitted your tax information. However, generally, Outdoorsy is prohibited from returning withheld amounts.&nbsp;



<h4>Does Outdoorsy always notify the IRS of my reportable payments?</h4>



It depends on how much you receive in <a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/help/whered-the-taxable-amount-on-my-1099-k-come-from" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reportable payments</a> each year:



<h5>$600 or more</h5>



Yes, we must notify the IRS of your reportable payments, starting in 2022. We’ll also prepare a 1099-K for you and send a copy to the IRS.&nbsp;



<h5>Less than $600</h5>



We may not report anything to the IRS. You should consult with your own tax advisers to determine whether you need to report any activity on your income tax return.



<h4>American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021</h4>



If you’ve been active on Outdoorsy and have never come across these tax requirements, it’s because some of them are new for 2022.



ARPA introduced the $600 threshold for tax reporting. This goes into effect on January 1, 2022.
