Instant Book allows renters to automatically confirm booking requests for your vehicle and submit payment details immediately.
When you enable Instant Book on your account, all upcoming booking requests will be automatically confirmed. The renter’s credit card is charged for the initial amount, you receive a confirmation email with the booking details, and the reservation details will automatically become available in your Dashboard. If for any reason you’d like to disable this setting, you can do so easily in your account.
Go to your dashboard and select the “Manage Vehicles” option from the left-hand menu. From there, click on “Booking Preferences” (next to the default green button “Manage Vehicles”) and scroll down to the “Instant Book” section. Here you can click the dropdown menu to toggle on Instant Book and modify your cutoff times (for example, no same-day bookings).
(In “Booking Preferences,” you can also modify your turnaround time to make sure that you always have time to prepare your vehicle for the next renter.)
You can easily switch from Instant Book to manual review through your dashboard. Simply follow the directions above to change your “Booking Preferences.”

Yes, you can cancel an instant booking reservation if the renter does not meet your stated rules, policies, or terms and conditions. If you need to cancel the booking for one of these reasons, do so right away. However, if a renter meets all your requirements, then you should only cancel the reservation if it’s requested by the renter.
