What do I do when I need roadside assistance with an Outdoorsy rental?

Simply call 877-978-7222 for assistance, and we will connect you to our network of 40,000+ roadside assistance providers. You should also contact the RV owner so they can help facilitate any needed repairs.

What’s included in roadside assistance coverage?

Outdoorsy roadside assistance is included with every Outdoorsy rental that has a purchased protection package. Roadside assistance covers the rented unit only for the days selected in the reservation. Services include:

• 24/7 Technical Support
• Towing 
• Jump starts 
• Mobile tire assistance – changing of tires or towing of the RV to a repair facility. (Tire replacement itself is not covered.)
• Locksmith and lockout service 
• Delivery of fuel and emergency fluids
• Mobile mechanic – dispatching and paying for the service call of a mobile mechanic to the site of a mechanically-disabled RV. 

24/7 RV Technical Support Hotline

Outdoorsy’s dispatch center features 24/7 technical assistance from ASE-certified technicians to assist with first level instructions and technical diagnosis with basic troubleshooting and common operational issues such as:

• How to use retracting slide outs
• How to use leveling jacks
• How to connect a power supply
• How to operate your RV appliances
• Locating the nearest service facility

NOTE: While it is important to contact the RV owner, the renter is initially responsible for all charges related to on-site repairs, including but not limited to parts and labor costs. The renter will be responsible for any dispatch fee if the vehicle is at the renter’s residence or in storage. Mobile Mechanic benefits are only available if the unit is inoperable and cannot be moved due to mechanical breakdown. Issues related to malfunction of appliances, parts or systems solely related to the passenger cabin are not covered by Mobile Mechanic benefits.

We partner with Coach-Net to offer roadside assistance because that’s been their specialty since 1987. Coach-Net has a network of more than 40,000 licensed and insured roadside assistance providers who can help out 24/7.

How much does roadside assistance cost?

Roadside assistance is currently included in eligible bookings with a purchased Outdoorsy Protection Package at no additional charge.
